    Flash and Actionscript

    Well I've been building a CD presentation in Flash MX 2004 for a client of ours and I have to say it is a very fun project. The only thing I need is more VB skills so I can write some apps to tie into Flash using fscommand().

    If anyone knows where I can find a exe that will:

  • look for and application based on the file extention (filename send from the command line)
  • If it can't find the application allow and installer to be launched (installer name send from the command line)
  • Display a pop up window alerting a user of the status
